Over 500 km Range Electric Cars in India: When it comes to buying an electric car, the biggest problem is the range. There are some electric cars available in India right now which give a range of up to 500 km, which includes a Tata Curvv EV. Apart from this, MG Windsor EV (480 km), and Tata Punch EV (315 – 421 km) are electric cars which give range in it.
But, very soon 3 such electrics are going to be launched in India which will provide a range of up to 500 km on a full charge. Due to the increasing demand for electric cars in India too, electric car manufacturing companies are making cars with more range. Let’s know in detail about those electric cars which are going to be launched in India.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara (Expected Launching – Sep 2025)

Maruti Suzuki has also joined the electric car race and is going to launch its new electric SUV e-Vitara in India very soon. According to media reports, it can be launched in September 2025.
Maruti is going to launch three variants of its e Vitara, which include Delta, Alpha and Zeta, which will be available with two battery packs 48.8 kWh and 61.1 kWh options. The most important thing in all this is that this electric car will give a range of 500 km once fully charged, which Maruti Suzuki is claiming. At the same time, its price is expected to be between 20-25 lakhs.

Tata Sierra EV (Expected Launching – Aug 2026)

Tata is also included in the line-up of 500 km range electric cars. Tata Motors is going to launch its new electric SUV Tata Sierra EV, which was showcased at the Mobility Global Expo held in India in January 2025. According to media reports, its launch will take place at the end of this financial year, although Tata has not yet given any official information about it.
If we talk about the features of Tata Sierra EV, then it is going to be a 5 seater SUV. Along with this, it is going to get dual digital display, panoramic sunroof, connected car technology, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), and 6 airbags for safety.
At the same time, it is going to get a high range battery pack which will provide a range of up to 500 km. The price of this electric car is estimated to be 25 lakhs.
Kia Carens Clavis EV (Expected Launching – July 2025)

Kia has already launched the Clavis variant of its popular MPV Carens, and now the company is preparing to launch its electric version – Carens Clavis EV. According to media reports, this electric MPV will get two battery options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh. Their range on full charge can be 390 km and 473 km respectively. Even though it is slightly less than the 500 km figure, it is emerging as a practical and powerful EV option in the family MPV segment.
It may be launched in July 2025, and its price is being estimated between 22-26 lakhs. However, no official statement has come from the company.
